Sales End User for Sage SalesLogix LAN v7.2

Two-Day Class, $795 per student

Overview: This classroom course introduces you to the core components of the SalesLogix Client. You will learn how to:

  • Navigate the SalesLogix Client workspace
  • Manage accounts and contacts
  • Manage sales tasks such as leads, opportunities, and sales dashboards
  • Create activities for phone calls, meetings, to-dos, and literature requests
  • Send e-mail from SalesLogix
  • Add notes, use attachments, and use the library
  • Write letters using templates and mail merge
  • Use contact processes to streamline contact with customers
  • Generate, filter, and export reports

Note: This course will not cover the SalesLogix Client Support or Marketing components, or the SalesLogix Web Client.

Course Level: Basic

Prerequisite:

  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Windows (2000 or later)
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook

Attendees will receive a class workbook when they arrive to the training center. The workbook contains step-by-step exercises, workshops, and reference material.

Administering Sage SalesLogix LAN v7.2 - CUSTOMERS ONLY

Four-Day Class, $2,150 per student

Overview: This classroom course introduces you to the SalesLogix Administrator and the Architect tools. You will learn how to:

  • Prepare for implementation
  • Configure the SalesLogix Administrator and use the Administrator workspace
  • Install the SalesLogix Client Create users and establish security
  • Create teams and establish security Use core client components
  • Configure SpeedSearch
  • Configure Marketing Services
  • Configure the Synchronization Server
  • Install the Remote Client and use Remote features
  • Manage users and data using administrative roles and realignment
  • Create contact and sales processes
  • Create menus and toolbars

Course Level: Intermediate

Prerequisite:

  • Knowledge of SQL Server and relational databases
  • Knowledge of client/server architecture
  • Basic networking skills such as sharing folders and setting user permissions
  • Experience using the SalesLogix Client (preferred)

Attendees will receive a class workbook when they arrive to the training center. The workbook contains step-by-step exercises, workshops, and reference material.

Certification:  When you complete the course, you will receive instructions for taking an optional certification assessment. Successful completion of this course and certification assessment allows you to obtain Sage SalesLogix LAN Administrator certification for version 7.2 (SLXLANA7).

Note: This course is designed for customers only. Business partners should take the Implementing Sage SalesLogix course for appropriate certification.
