The Summer Scurry will benefit the PMP Research Foundation, a charity formed by Independence residents Dan & Lisa (Kurtz) Luciano. A mom of eight and owner of Kurtz Bros., Inc. (a Socius client), Lisa is battling an abdominal cancer named Pseudomyxoma Peritonei (PMP). PMP has no cure and no federally funded research. The Foundation provides hope to those affected by this cancer.
